Rose Legal Search provides three types of legal recruiting services:


In a retained search, the client guarantees payment in exchange for a commitment by Rose Legal Search that its search will commence immediately and receive highest priority. The client is also guaranteed that several highly qualified applicants will be presented for its review within a predetermined time frame. All aspects of retained searches, including various forms of fee agreements, are customizable to exactly fit the client’s needs and preferences.


In a contingency-based search, the client only pays Rose Legal Search upon the hiring of a candidate referred by us.


Rose Legal Search takes great pride in its work with individual attorneys who wish to make a career change. Rose Legal Search develops highly customized candidate and/or practice group marketing approaches by drawing upon our extensive network of legal employers, resulting in opportunities that help attorneys meet their professional goals.

In each situation, we are guided by two main principles – confidentiality and impartiality. We view our role as creating connections between legal employers and the best candidates for their needs. We do not attempt to control the hiring process. Rather, we make sure that our candidates’ qualifications shine while allowing employers and candidates to fully explore whether a particular position is a good fit for a particular candidate. We offer insight, market knowledge, and even personal opinions, but we never push for a particular result. Unlike recruiters who favor a more aggressive “sales” approach, we feel that our philosophy is the most likely to result in long-term successful matches and relationships with our firm.
